EQA is hiring a junior associate to join the team
Our firm is currently seeking to hire a junior / mid-level associate with relevant work experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and tax. Ideally, the candidate will show between 1 and 3 years of work experience and demonstrate a side but strong interest in litigation, particularly in proceedings before the courts of the European Union.
Under the supervision of the partners, the associate will be involved in (i) corporate matters (legal monitoring of companies, setting up of start-ups, disposals / acquisitions of shareholdings, capital operations, structuration of management packages), (ii) assets holding structuration and next-generation transfer as well as (iii) tax matters (analysis of the tax consequences of holding structures, assistance in complying with annual tax filing obligations, etc.).
Beyond these core responsibilities, the associate may also engage in legal support and litigation related to the enforcement of European restrictive measures, specifically those provided by European Regulations 269/2014 and 833/2014.
The position requires exceptional drafting skills in French and English.
Langages proficiency in Russian and Italian would be a valuable asset.
